Kicking Up Some Dust

I’m currently in the process of making several 16″x16″ pillows that will soon be on sale through this website. I’ve also been making a ridiculous amount of panels to paint on which resulted in a nose full of sawdust. The panels are made of mahogany luan and a pine frame with mitered joints and will be sealed with several layers of gesso. The last bit are some one-off shirts I randomly made with my friends at The Shirt Lab who are silk screening my designs on the formerly mentioned pillows.

Motivational Instructions

I’ve been feeling a bit of a creative slump so I decided to make a few motivational phrases to stick around my apartment. So far it’s working, I have been in the process of producing some things to open up a shop on this site. More updates on that to come! :]

Mark Todd

Went to see the opening of Mark Todd’s exhibit at La Luz de Jesus over the weekend. Mr. Todd’s works consisted of reinterpretations of classic comic book covers and motifs layered in whimsical ways, resulting in rich, collage-like pieces. At the center of it all was a very cool fireworks stand painted covered with Mark’s drawings, perfect timing for the Fourth of July.
