I seem to be doing a bit of traveling lately. I just got back from a trip to Seoul to visit the amazing Saejean Oh. I had never been to Korea and had a wonderfully relaxing and zen trip. Since I’ve been back in Los Angeles, I’ve mailed out all the print orders thus far, so you should be receiving your new prints very soon now! Thank you for all the support. Here are some photos from Seoul and progress on a piece I’ve been playing with.

Opening Shop

My webshop is officially up and running! I looked at the proofs for the prints on Friday and everything looks great! These are all limited edition giclées of 30 prints per image, printed on heavyweight, smooth archival paper. The sizes are: Ghouls’ Night Out 24″ x 32″, Tuberose 24″ x 27″, Remember When We Used to Play 20″ x 29″, and Azalea is 16″ x 16″, all with a 1.5″ border. So as of now things are still in preorder stage. I will be out of town from Wednesday until the second week of May, and will ship out all the orders once I am back. There may be some minor hiccups that need to be ironed out when and if they come up, so please bear with me, otherwise check out the store! Enjoy!

Summer Air

As you might be able to tell from my recent posts, I’m very excited for summer to come. Here is a new piece I’m currently working on for a group show. I’m experimenting with some gold leafing, which is surprisingly hard to work with because it wants to stick to everything in the universe and its mother. I tip my hat to all the gold leafers out there. Enjoy!

Hello hello! I am finally officially getting some prints made after much anticipation from you all. I will definitely be making prints of Ghoul’s Night Out, Tuberose, Remember When We Used to Play and Azalea. I may make prints of a few other pieces, but those are the ones I am certain of. Please send me an email if you are interested or have a request and I will see what I can do. :]

Greetings from London! Here is a new painting I finished on Monday minutes before I had to go to the airport. It is 12″ x 12″ oil on wood panel. The painting will be on display at La Luz de Jesus from March 2nd – April 1st, with the opening reception on March 2nd. Unfortunately I will not be there, since I will be out of town until March 6th, so my piece will stand in my stead. Enjoy!

Shhh… There’s an Opening

Thank you to everyone who made it out on Friday for the opening night of Shhh… It was lovely meeting all sorts of new people and I look forward to seeing you again. I recently had the privilege of having Daniel Rolnik of Hi-Fructose come to my studio for a visit. We had a lovely time discussing the unspoken etiquette of showing in galleries to wonderfully random topics that border on completely inappropriate.
